The Round presents Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s The Voice Of The Viola: Fiona Sargeant
Conducted by Leonard Weiss

The sonorous sounds of the viola anchor both works in this program featuring MSO musician Fiona Sargeant

Hindemith’s concerto, based on German folk song, portrays a travelling medieval musician.

Brahms’ Second Serenade, having no violins in the orchestration, brings out the rich sounds of the lower voices of the orchestra in an intimate setting.

The MSO will capture your heart with this beautiful concert.
