About
Lost and alone, two hungry children wander toward a shimmering vision of warmth and comfort—a true paradise for any child with an empty stomach and a heavy heart. However, not everything is as it appears...
The State Youth Ballet Company presents Hansel & Gretel, a tale of a courageous brother and sister who are constantly teased by the cruel village children. They are lured away from their home by the enchanting Ice Cream Witch. Throughout their adventure, they meet the mystical Sandman and his sparkling Dew Fairies, along with the Moon and stars, a host of forest creatures, delicious treats, skilled cooks, and a delightful chorus of sweets. Will their loving parents reach them in time to save them from the witch's clutches?
A blend of laughter, tears, spine-tingling moments, an abundance of sweetness, and just a hint of spice creates a delightful recipe for a truly joyous ending and an unforgettable ballet experience for audiences of all ages.
