This special anniversary concert brings together the vibrant energy and exceptional talent of one of Australia’s most respected school music programs as it marks 70 years of education at Blackburn High School. Audiences will be treated to a rich and varied program featuring stunning orchestral repertoire, captivating solo performances, and powerful ensemble works that highlight the depth and diversity of Blackburn High School’s musical tradition.
This landmark concert also welcomes alumni performers, sharing the stage with current students in a powerful reflection of the program’s enduring legacy and influence. Together, they celebrate a tradition that has inspired generations of musicians and earned international recognition.
Set within the state-of-the-art surrounds of The Round, this event is more than a concert—it’s a celebration of creativity, connection and community.

Concession: Senior Card, Government Concession Card, full-time student 16+ with valid ID.
Child: Any person aged 14 years or below. Must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Family of 4: Group of 4 with a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult (Full or Concession) and 3 children.
Under 24 months: Free when held by a carer and not occupying a seat.
Companion Card: Accepted. Please either book online by selecting the Accessibility needs button after clicking the Book Tickets button or contact the Box Office.

Seating
Allocations: Seating allocation will be based on, but not limited to, the size of the group, time of booking and final venue configuration so as to be compliant with any restrictions that are in place. This may require allocated seats to be moved to comply with restrictions.
