About
Presented by the AOPA Performing Arts Foundation, Sounds of Hope is an inspiring charity concert bringing together music, community, and compassion in support of children’s health, emotional wellbeing, and future hope.
Held on Friday 3 July 2026, this special evening will feature a rich and uplifting program of choral music, solo performances, instrumental works, musical theatre highlights, and multicultural presentations performed by young artists, children’s choirs, community (ensembles) choir, and distinguished guest performers.
Audiences will enjoy a selection of beloved classics including You Raise Me Up, Heal the World, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, We Are the World, The Prayer, City of Stars, and many more inspiring performances. Through these beautiful musical works, the concert celebrates unity, healing, and hope, showcasing the power of music to bring warmth, comfort, and light into people’s lives.
The evening will also feature special guest speakers from the healthcare and community sectors, sharing reflections on how care, creativity, and human connection can support children and families through challenges and recovery.
With music serving as a bridge across cultures and generations, Sounds of Hope invites the community to come together in kindness, encouragement, and hope for the future.
