About

Step into a world where history comes alive and imagination knows no bounds! This Chinese Lunar New Year, join us at the 2026 Melbourne Children’s Spring Festival for a magical adventure in Museum Night Wonders. Follow Qinglan, the museum director’s curious daughter, as she unlocks ancient secrets with a mysterious “civilization code” and awakens the mystical guardian of light—Ma Ling.

From the moment the museum stirs to life, children’s laughter and daring adventures unfold through four magical doors of discovery: the Door of Wisdom, the Door of Courage, the Door of Guardianship, and the Door of Time. Meet talking relics, playful terracotta warriors, a mischievous phoenix, and other enchanted artifacts who guide our young heroes through challenges filled with courage, curiosity, and heart.

Experience breathtaking performances, including ancient-inspired dances, modern street and Latin moves, classical music, and large-scale ensemble acts, blending tradition and innovation. Witness children discover the gentle power of wisdom, the thrill of bravery, and the joy of friendship—all while exploring a museum like never before.

Bring your family and let your imagination run wild in this interactive, magical journey across time and space, where every moment sparkles with adventure and every child can see themselves as a hero. Don’t miss the chance to step inside the museum after hours—where history, fun, and wonder await!
